SCHOOL NEWS

  • Congratulations to our Grade 6 / 7 Volleyball Team, for a successful season.      The Grade 7s closed out the year with a win over the teachers!
  • The Richmond School District will determine school closures due to inclement weather by 6:30am.  Updates will be delivered using social media and district websites.  School closures will also be announced by local radio and television.  If snowfall begins while school is in session, in most circumstances, schools will remain open until the end of the school day.
  • We will be donating all items in our Lost and Found during Winter Break.  If you are missing something, please come by and have a look at the table outside the office.
  • Please visit our Website School Calendar to be updated on our future events.

MANOAH STEVES 2025/2026 FOOD DRIVE

As the holidays are just round the corner, we are running a food donation drive for the Richmond Food Bank. We urge all families that can donate to do so generously.  Statistics show that 1 in 4 people in Canada don’t have access to the food they need.

Items that are most needed by the Richmond food bank include:

  • Canned fish and meat                               -   Canned vegetables
  • Nut butters                                                -   Baby food and formula
  • Canned and powered milk                        -   Rice and pasta
  • Soups and stews                                        -    Oatmeal and cereal
  • Pasta sauce                                                -    Biscuits, jams, chips

Items NOT suitable for donations:

  • Fresh meats                                               -    Fresh fruit and vegetables
  • Frozen food                                               -    Prepared food
  • Opened or expired items                           -   Energy drinks, alcohol

How do I donate:

Please send items for donation to school with your child(ren).  There will be a drop off box for our Food Drive in each classroom.

We thank you in advance for spreading cheer this holiday season!
