A School Survey - Are we making a difference?

As a way to see if our work with staff and students was making a difference, we created a survey to give to students of all grades, K to 7. We wanted to know about the name activity and where in the school did students feel like they could be their authentic selves.

As doing the survey required students to access technology, younger students did the survey with the support of their classroom teacher and/or teacher librarian. Students were given a variety of options for answers depending on the questions.

The questions asked were:

1. Did you participate in a name story or personal identity activity at school?

3. Where at school did you make a connection to someone like you?
