SCHOOL NEWS

Notice of Intent to Attend forms have been sent home this week (grades K thru 6). Please complete and return to your classroom teacher by January 17^th. This form will ensure that a space will be held for your child at Steves for the 2025 – 2026 school year. Copies have been attached to this email if you are missing them. Please note that there is one form for neighborhood and a different form for Montessori.

As previously emailed, the Basketball afterschool club is currently on hold. We will advise when this club will start up again.

Please remember that hot lunch orders need to entered a week in advance. The first hot lunch will be January 23^rd.

PAC NEWS

After careful consideration and the results of our survey, Hot Lunch for the Spring is again being booked through Fantuan. We hear your complaints, though, and are working with the them to improve ordering and food quality. We also passed along objections about the name and logo of the pizza vendor. For now we will be working with their other local restaurant vendors until our concerns can be addressed.

In the meantime, if you are able to volunteer with us this winter, please sign up to help with Treat Days or Hot Lunch. We are using a different system (Doodle) in hopes that it will be easier and less confusing.
