Our School Story in Action

Each week, we will try to share a part of our School Story and how it applies to our community's daily learning.  Our School Story is based on the Core Competencies found in the BC Curriculum.

This week, we would like to showcase Breakfast Club.  Students are invited to join community activities and enjoy breakfast foods and drinks. Students of all ages can interact and get to know others from different grades and divisions.

This links to our School Story focus in the following way:

Understanding relationships and cultural contexts - "Students understand that their relationships and cultural contexts help to shape who they are. This includes culture in its broadest sense, including how one identifies in terms of ethnicity, nationality, language(s), abilities, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, geographic region, and religious or spiritual beliefs. Students explore who they are in terms of their relationship to others and their relationship to the world (people and place) around them.”
